About Me

Hi! Welcome to my page. My name is Francesca McCaffrey, I am a NYC/NJ based artist that specializes in social media content creation, photography, and graphic design.

I received my BFA in Fine Arts with a minor in Women’s and Gender Studies from Pace University, and I also studied abroad for a semester at Florence University of the Arts. My studies instilled a strong foundation in art history and traditional fine arts practices that serve as the basis of both my professional and personal work. I’ve taken courses such as Graphic Design I and II, Digital Design I and II, and Intro to Packaging Design which have immensely improved my skills in social media content creation, graphic design, illustration, branding, and typography.

My interest in photography and graphic design combined with my genuine interest in TikTok and Instagram lead me to begin exploring the world of content creation. I have created social media content for restaurants, bars, and hotels through my virtual internship with Morning Coffee Creative, and I am now currently touring with Journey Dance Competition as their social media coordinator at live events.

Before professionally working in social media, I had naturally been drawn to social platforms, like the rest of my generation, out of interest in staying connected, informed, and on-trend with the rest of the world. Today, social media is the most powerful and efficient way for companies to advertise and market themselves on a widespread scale. My deep understanding of emerging trends and creators, brand growth opportunities, and data analytics integrated with my trained, artistic eye, allow me to bring analytical insight and creative direction to every page I work on. The pages that I manage don’t have to choose between aesthetics and growth, because I am equally knowledgable in each social media field.

Outside of my professional practices, I frequently work with acrylic paints and oil pastels, and have recently begun my own business, Francesca Claire Art, and have began selling my own artwork on Etsy. I also enjoy seeing live entertainment, completing puzzles, and exploring and documenting new places!
